The Pony Express Mustang & Classic Ford Club. Ltd. was started in March, 1979 by a group of dedicated Mustang enthusiasts determined to keep “Mustang” fever alive.  Over the last 43 years the club has evolved to include classic Ford cars of all kinds, not just Mustangs.  The original name of the club was "River City Mustang Club".  The club name was soon changed to the Pony Express Mustang Club.  In the year 2000 the name was changed again to include classic Fords thus the name the Pony Express Mustang & Classic Ford Club.  A few years later the club became incorporated and is now the Pony Express Mustang & Classic Ford Club, Ltd.

We meet once a month for business meetings and to discuss happenings and items of interest for Ford lovers.  The monthly Newsletter includes information from our club President, items for sale, a calendar of upcoming events, information on the next meeting time and place and other items of interest.  We are a family oriented club and invite the younger generation to get involved with the fascination of classic autos.  We go on day trips to various attractions in the Tri-State area.  We are a non-profit group and donate annually to many worthy causes including area food banks, soup kitchens, Coat-A-Kid, and other needy causes.

Often imitated by other Mustang clubs, we are still the original Pony Express Mustang & Classic Ford Club, Ltd. headquartered in Evansville, Indiana.
